Good place to stay in Ischia
Hotel is very good and cost effective on Ischia - walking distance to the town center and the castle !! Also directly across the road is the beach - and cost is included in the price of accommodation. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Highly recommended
The only problem we had was the sound of running water from the air conditioning vent in the room which seemed to be when other guests used their shower etc. This was only a minor annoyance however and did not detract from the overall excellence. The staff were all courteous and very helpful and the facilities were perfect. Although we did not try any of the treatments offered, the pool and thermal pool were nice and the terrace was perfect to sit and catch some sun. Our room had a lovely view of the coast and the castle. The hotel is placed between the main shopping street and the castle and both are a leisurely walk away which was ideal.
Traveller's tip on dining
Many of the restaurants nearby were excellent and had a wide range of dishes but seafood is obviously a speciality.

We will return
I spent a week in Ishcia with my wife at the Mare Blu, B/B, the The good points, staff excellent nothing was too much trouble, the Gala Dinner was very good value and is to be recommended,the sun terraces, swimming pool and the terme pool,mud wrap and massage were superb, buffet breakfast was good, although the room was nice with a sea view it was on the small side. I would be very pleased to visit the "Mare Blu" again
