Another good trip to The Hague
Having visited Holland and The Hague several times, the cleanliness and management of hotels is generally excellent, and Hotel Sebel was as good as others used before. We needed two single rooms and both were adequate, though small, especially the one on 2nd floor. This room was rather noisy, overlooking the street with regular trams operating late into the night. The single room on the ground floor had a tiny garden which was also accessed from the breakfast room - this was used as a smoking area, so the smell came into the room from 6.00am when the staff set up the breakfast next door, using the garden for a fag break. There was also noise from the breakfast room from 6.30am, so no chance of a lie-in. Helpful and friendly staff, and useful bag store for late departures once youve checked out. We would use this hotel again - convenient location about 20 mins walk to centre of old town.
Traveller's tip on shopping
Note that shops in The Hague open late, from 10.00am on main shopping days. They are open all day on Sundays, but many are closed all day Monday and some only reopen at midday on Tuesday. Antique market in Langeverhoort is excellent for browsing books and bric a brac on Sunday mornings.

Great little Hotel!
Easy to get to, accommodating & helpful staff, super clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was just right too. I would stay there again without even looking for another place to stay.
Traveller's tip on dining
Dont miss the Speijk.nu restaurant - great food and service, a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
