A bit nicer than standard...
Considering that Copacabana nowadays isn’t the best neighborhood in Rio, the hotel surroundings are actually nice, and you’re close to a lot very useful services: restaurant, metro, shops, 3 blocks away from the beach... quite right. The hotel is very clean, breakfast is ok, and there’s an ok wifi internet. What didn’t I like: customer service - hotel staff not nice at all, aweful english.

Economical and worth the money !
Negative points. Room needed a coat of paint. Swimming pool not in the roof and therefore lacking direct "proper" sun light in the winter. Surrounded by nearby apartments windows, therefore no privacy at all !! Not appropriate for chindren, I would say. Apart from that, this hotel was very good !!
Hotel proximity to everything Copacabana can offer is a definite advantage.
