Excellent Hotel

The Tudor is central and the rooms are spacious, spotless and comfortable and the decor is very nice. The staff bent over backwards to help us with bookings and advice. The rooms at the back are quiet. I would definitely stay again.

There is a superb craft market in Greenmarket Square

Small Hotel at Greenmarket Square

Not the newest or snazziest hotel, but clean and roomy with a wonderful collection of contemporary art work in the rooms and halls. Take the stairs at least once to catch a glimpse of them. Also right on the corner of greenmarket Square.

Pleasant but not amazing

Not being an expensive hotel, we didn’t expect amazing things. The hotel is in a good central location, but the Panafrican market does make for disturbed mornings if you are at the front of the hotel. Our room was a good size, but unfortunately had not been prepared properly for our arrival (the bin hadn’t been emptied and there was a dirty coffee cup). The blind at our window was also broken and, despite our request for it to be repaired, lacked a cord throughout our stay requiring it to be propped open by wedging it awkwardly. Despite these problems, we enjoyed our stay at the Tudor Hotel. Breakfast was good and car parking arrangements ran smoothly. The staff were courteous. The shower hot. For a reasonable value central hotel we would recommend it.
