Great family base on the quieter side of Meribell
I have been a regular in Meribel and found the hotel well placed to serve the family market. The complex is ideally suited for ski in/out and has reasonable facilities - good value for money and quiet spacious compared to typical chalet accommodation. Reception staff were very efficient and keen to help.
A great location away from the busier parts of town - ideal for those with children below 12 but you really need to have your own transport (although there is a regular bus service nearby). The apres ski in the village is tame compared to the centre of town.

Very disappointing!
On arrival at reception we waited 5 minutes to get our keys whilst watching staff count money. All 6 of us we’re very disappointed upon entering our apartment... Bedroom one had no wardrobe and a single bed, with another single bed that pulls out from underneath, once this was done you couldn’t get anything else in that room (more a box room). The lounge had a similar bed system as above (which was expected), a stool had one leg missing, there was a broken table and the general feel was quite shabby. Bedroom two had a double bed (as requested), however it was a double bed frame with 2 single mattresses... not the most comfortable, our en-suite shower/cupboard was blocked. There was not enough towels or bedding supplied for 6 people, 2 towels we’re actually hanging up to dry in the hallway, suggesting these had already been used. Not very professional or expected from a 4 Star superior complex as advertised. All said and done we did make the best of it had a very good holiday!
