SCRATCHY SHEETS
Staff was cordial. Rooms and halls were clean. but the bed was supe small (the biggest sized bed they have is a double and my husband and I slept together and the sheets were HORRIBLE! They were so scratchy that I had to sleep with a towel under me and the pillows were very flat. No pool; no exercise facility. But location was nice and enjoyed the balcony daily.
Shopping in Estoril is very expensive. If money is an object go to the Shopping Center in Lisbon. Souvenirs at the Estoril Metro station are less expensive than buying from a shop.

Good position for train to Lisbon
The room was very nice the only problem was the bathroom which was so small compared to the size of the room.Staff very friendly. Good breakfast.

Happier than my wife
I found the hotel well up to standard. Spacious air-conditioned room with a balcony overlooking the Casino and gardens. Casino did not prove to be a noise problem, though we never ventured inside. My wife would have welcomed a fridge, a kettle and easy chairs as alternative to bed. Staff were polite and helpful. Lift was fine. Breakfast more than adequate, though coffee was fairly ordinary. Good restaurants nearby, but be warned that there is not much in Estoril apart from the excellent beach. If you do not want peace and quiet you might prefer Cascais, a bit further up the estuary. Both are on a frequent, cheap train link to central Lisbon.
