"Should have stayed elsewhere!!!"
This place was a joke. Unfortunately I trusted the better reviews I read about this hotel instead of the negative ones. I’m surprised hotel.com doesn’t follow up on the negative ones. The only positives here were that the staff and location were decent. I’m used to trying to stay on the cheaper side but this was by far the worst place I have ever stayed not to mention extremely overpriced for Labor Day weekend. Here is a sampling: 1.Room smelled and felt musty/clammy and the A/C didn’t help much (also very noisy) 2.Furniture was falling apart with cigarette burns everywhere including carpet and bedspread 3.Bathroom drains were only partially working resulting in quickly filled sink or tub (at least they were sort of clean) 4. TV picture very noisy since cable had no connector to screw into TV. Only connected by center conductor wire with no ground/shielding 5.Free breakfast consisted of cheap packaged muffins and steeped coffee that tasted like it was 3 days old 6.Bed and pillows hard as could be There are many other hotels within a mile that may have been a little more expensive but it would have been worth it

Not what I expected
Hotel is not in good condition. Everything is old and the hotel definitely needs maintenance. I would never go back to this hotel it was not what I expected at all. However if you want to save a few bucks this is a cheap hotel and all the attractions are near by.

Great room for the money
This room was what I expected for the price. The staff was very nice and accomadating.
