Not at all what I expected from the price
For the price was expecting to be dissatisfied in some way, in fact I have nothing to complain about whatsoever. Brilliant location, comfortable and clean rooms (had a great view too which was a bonus!), friendly and very helpful staff and great breakfasts. All in all, if I had paid 3 times the price I still would have been just as satisfied. Definitely would recommend.

Can’t go wrong for the cost.
We only stayed 1 night but, if all you want is a good location, clean room and decent breakfast at a very low cost, you can’t go wrong. Definitely communist chic with a big ’C’. We had a few laughs at the decor! Would certainly use again for an odd night.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
If there is anything you need, there’s a Huge Tesco shopping complex next to hotel. Less than 5min walk into old town. Stayed Sun. 5th Oct. very quiet in evening after day trippers had left. Found good, reasonably priced Cuban restaurant in the old town, called Havana Cafe in Michalska.

Could use improvement
The hotel is in a good area to the Historic city center. But the bathroom of my room had some designer defects. The power from the water tap in the bath was so powerful that it automatically turned on the shower. The vent was not attached to the wall properly. No shampoo was provided. Breakfast was good though as well as comfy beds.
When you are traveling on the Bratislava public transport be aware of fake transport officials. If approached demand to see there ID and never pay any fines up front. Demand that you be taken to the head office of the Bratislava transport authority.
