A fair choice
Everything perfect, except for the inhouse noise (you hear if the neighbour is snoozing) and the vers noisy street of Gover Street

Outstanding hotel at a reasonable cost
London hotels in this price range are often dreary - not this one, which is cheery and well-maintained. The location is convenient - within walking distance of the National Gallery, British Museum, and British Library, as well as theaters and the Soho district. The room was small, but nicely appointed - though facing the street which meant a fair amount of noise. Light sleepers might want to request rooms away from the front. The staff was uniformly pleasant, helpful, and competent.
Those arriving at Heathrow might consider taking the underground [cost: $6-7] rather than the Heathrow Express+cab [cost: about $50]. The underground would only be slightly longer - though the closest stop is about 5 blocks from the hotel.
