Recommended - but with reservations
7 nights in early September therefore very quiet due mainly to absence of children. The Marina claims to be a 5* hotel, however, I would suggest a low 4*. A few instances. No ice machines. This could only be obtained from a bar, and then it seemed to be rationed with the bar-man almost counting out the cubes! And when was the last time a 5* hotel room came without standard tea/coffee making facilities? On the other hand, sea views from the room were unobstructed and this presumably affects the overall * rating of the hotel. For those of a young disposition, (not my wife or I), the hotel is ideally situated for the local Paceville nightlife. Close enough for those who require hands and knees to get home, but far enough away so that, for us at least, noise was never an issue. In summary. A pleasant enough hotel, but, if a 5* establishment is what is required, then look elsewhere.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
A hotel for the young, or young at heart. Not for those looking for the out and out facilities, and prices, of a `real` 5* hotel

Lovely setting and great looking rooms
Nice air conditioned rooms. Room overlooking water would be better.

new staff needed
The rooms were adiquate with good beds. The breakfast was good apart from when they say finished they mean it ,as my son arrived quite late but in the alloted time scale and they turned off the toaster while he still had brad in it !!.The pool service was terrible as although I understand that if drinking and eating on your sun bed neede plastic cuttlery ect I dont think this was neede 100 mt from the pool sitting at a baar .The staff were only interested in talking to themselved and not serving the customer. The reception staff were very helpful though
Traveller's tip on dining
We found the food less than adiquate in the restaurants we ate in .One very up market and the other midddle of the road.Got money back from the up market one
