Friendly staff, great service!
The people we encountered that work at this hotel were simply great. They took excellent care of us. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was perfect. If you have a room with a view to the East, catching the sun popping up above the treeline might be worth your while. Great place to stay. We’ll be back!

Great Value that Exceeded Expectations
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Chanhassen in October 2009. It booked it as part of last minute trip for an event in Chanhassen. The room was cheap and I only needed it for one night, so I wasn’t expecting much beyond a clean place to stay. However, I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The hotel was very well maintained. I learned that it was only five years or so old, so nothing was run down. The room was clean and a great size. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room had a flat screen TV and a great channel lineup including cable. The staff were courteous and friendly (though most Minnesotans seem to be). I have no complaints at all. I could have stayed here much longer. I will stay again when I return to Chanhassen.

Good choice if you have activities in the area
Our experience with "Express" hotels has been positive. The buffet breakfast was acceptable but not outstanding. The pool with water slide great for kids, but since the slide is only available from 5-10PM, a little limiting. Staff helpful and courteous. We were there for theater with our grandkids so other than limited slide access, they were content.
