Great location
We checked in late and were able to run down the block and make it on the night tour. Staff was friendly, check in and check out were a breeze. Room was maybe the biggest hotel room I’ve seen (this is coming from a New Yorker). Would’ve been better if we would’ve been able to see the capitol from the window, but when we looked outside into the hallway we were able to see a clear beautiful view of the capitol.

Great base for sightseeing
This hotel is extremely well placed for visiting museums, art galleries, etc. and is just a short walk from the train/metro station. My room was very comfortable and the marble bathroom was lovely with a good supply of towels. Downside is the dearth of restaurants in the area - you need to travel downtown for those - and the restaurant menu in the hotel is uninspiring. A minor irritation was the lack of a safe in the room. However, I was very satisfied overall with both the condition and comfort of the hotel.

Great hotel in a great location.
Good location within a few minutes walk from the Capitol and Union Station. Super friendly staff. Rooms and bar are great.
