More like a 4 star
The hotel staff was helpful, we went there for our destination wedding, and they had decorated our room beautifully, and gave us extra treats. Wish their staff could communicate in English. Spa service was mediocre.

Apart from service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fine
This is a lovely old hotel. However the reception staff are useless and so s the Hall porter and his staff. This part of the package was not 5 star more like 2 star.

Not a 4 Star Hotel
Reception service was very poor and we felt that the staff were discussing us and laughing at us. They had only 1 computer to check people out. Room was shabby - dirty carpet and no armchair to sit in. Bathroom was outdated and shabby, with a broken toilet seat. The restaurants and bar were understaffed and the staff were fighting and shouting at one another! Would rank it as just about a 3 Star Hotel.
