Good place to stay
This hotel was a nice place to stay. The room was clean and the beach was awesome. The food was very good and as expensive as than any of the other places that we ate. The front desk help was nice and tried to help but they did not have current or sometimes any information as far as what things were open since we went in the off season. The women in the gift shop had a better handle on local information.

Eat at the Hog Penny. The atmosphere is great and the food is awesome.

Beautifull Views.
Great location. All the rooms have ocean view.Elbow beach was great for quiet,relaxing time on a beach chair. Also great for a swim or walk on the soft pink beach.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Buy the Trasportation Pass or rent a Scooter. The pass can be used whole day in the bus or ferry. Taxis are expensive.

5 Star Price 3 Star Service
We found the hotel to be rather nice, and definitely had a lot of potential. Food at the restaraunt was very good and portions were ample, but prices were high, and maybe that’s to be expected. All of the staff were very nice, but service always seemed to fall just short. As an example, one night there was a happy hour with discounted drinks. However, you had to go to the front desk and request a ticket for each drink in order to get the discounted price. I could not believe, they can’t just take one ticket and apply it to you bar bill, or check that you are a guest of the hotel and apply the discount automatically. It’s little things like that that bugged me about paying the prices we did. Also, no concierge, my wife and I wanted to go fishing. The front desk directed me to a room full of brochures, and I had to make my own arrangements. Been to other resorts where you just submit the request to the conceirge and all arrangement are done. My opinion, this hotel needs to make up it’s mind, be the 5 star hotel that you charge like, Or be the 3 star hotel that you are adjust prices, and fill the rooms.
