View is worth it!
B.W. Hotel Paradiso has the best view of any hotel in Naples, Italy and you can enjoy it from your room or the top floor restaurant or rooftop terrace lounge. Easy transport via funicular to Mergellina marina and main city thoroughfare, below. Staff neither warm nor fuzzy, nor particularly helpful, but for travelers familiar with area, not so important. In the dining room, "Raffe" is a gem! Breakfast is very nice spread. Rooms are very comfortable with water view; damp on opposite side. This was my 3rd visit; and I’ll return again, for the view!

Ideal base for trips to Capri, Rome & Pompeii
I recommend this Hotel without reservation, it is away from the squalor of Naples centre, clean rooms, friendly helpfull staff (in the main)and the view from the restaurant at breakfast, brilliant!

Wonderful Hotel
This Hotel was everything I expected it to be, fantastic and the view did not disapoint and was a pleasure to look at every day of my honeymoon. The hotel staff were professional and courteous, although the welcolme was not the greatest by reception, it was just a one off. It is walkable into the centre of naples and there is a tram to catch back up, don’t be stung by taxi’s. Overall an excellelent hotel and holiday. There is a tourist office in the main train station who speak good English and told us how to get around and how, I ould definately recomend this hotel.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The main train station holds the key to all you need to know and maps with advice on how to get to all the attractions, please leave plenty of time for these as journies may be long. The sight seeing bus is a good place to start as gives you an all round view of naples. NormalBus tickets can be bought at the news paper stands an all day one bought before 10.30 am is cheaper .
