Decent Hotel
except for a few minor maintenance problems in my room, the hotel was good. Friendly service, big room and free internet service in the lobby. Also good location,
Must see the St Louis Arch, the historic courthouse near the arch and the museums in Forest Park. Nice City!

Not fancy but a good deal

Nice hotel...not so nice location
This hotel was a very nice hotel, but the location was not a very good location. In a not so desirable location. Internet connection intermittent at best.

Great location
Just minutes from downtown St. Louis ... away from the busy traffic, but very convenient to get anywhere in the city or hop on an expressway.

A Bit Away from Downtown
Hotel was being renovated, no fault of their own. Even though labeled as a ’Downtown’ hotel, definately not. Hotel is 3-4 block west of Union Station, and Union Station is 6-8 blocks from true downtown St. Louis.
Take MetroLink from the Airport to Downtown. Fast, efficient, inexpensive, a no-brainer!

NIce relaxing stay
Hotel atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and had a wide variety.

Heating/cooling a disappointment
The heating/cooling equipment in our room was not automatic. The lowest heating setting, if left on, would make the room too hot. The most moderate cooling setting, if left on, would make to room too cold. Such equipment has been replaced in most 3-diamond hotel rooms we see.

Ants in the bathroom!
I was in St. Louis for a conference and this hotel was close to the conference location. I had a handicap room and the bathroom floor was very wet after every shower and there were ants in the bathroom.

The downtown area was not very nice. There were several neighborhoods that I did not feel safe walking in by myself.

Stay there every time i am in St Louis.
Very convenient to downtown area. Easy access to highways. Can walk to a dozen nice restraunts.

Pros: hotel located 20 blocks from the arch... on market st... great location great price and more over free parking. Cons: no free wifi. no free breakfast

Good Clean Family Hotel
Our room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We had a snow storm while we were there and the staff even helped come up with equipment to scrape windshields in the parking lot. We were impressed and made reservations to stay with them again.

Very adequate
Hotel had several great features: breakfast buffet was very nice, rooms were clean, staff was very helpful. Downside was it was a little out of the loop if you are going for pleasure. Most activities were a ways away.

Very nice hotel
Check in was a breeze, room was in great shape, bed was extremely comfortable, slept very well. Breakfast buffett was better than average. Service was friendly and attentive. Great hotel.

Helpful and comfortable
Room was clean and comfortable, not too much noise from other rooms, even though the hotel was pretty full. Front desk staff was very helpful in giving advice for getting around town and calling cabs, etc.

St. Louis is not the most pedestrian-friendly city, but this hotel is definitely walking distance to many downtown locations, if you want to brave crossing busy streets. Cabs are not too expensive either.
