Great staff, great location!
This was my first time using Expedia and I couldn’t be more impressed. Such a great hotel, such a great (and big) room! It made our Halloween weekend even better. Thank you Doubletree! Thank you Expedia!

Will stay again
We recently went to the State Fair. My wife and I have stayed in the Downtown area before and like the shopping and dining that is within walking distance of the hotel. The kids liked it better than staying farther out in the suburbs where we usually stay when going to the Twin Cities. When checking in I had reserved 2 rooms, but the hotel had only the one reservation. The staff were able to get me another room right away and at the same discount as the one reserved. My son loved the warm cookies that were given to us at check in, he thought they were "Awesome". All the staff that we talked to were very friendly and profesional. We are definately going to stay here again when we come back to the Cities.
Traveller's tip
Try to get in early as parking is minimal. We got back to the hotel every day before 4 pm and had no problems finding a space. Also, try and park on the upper level. Much easier to get in and out.

Good down-town location, helpful staff.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and accomodating, and were timely to respond to our queries. The location was nice, just a short walk to Nicollet Mall and several downtown shops and restuarants. We would have preferred a pool, and it would have been helpful to know that while the room we had was a "suite", labeled as 2-room, it really was more like one large room with two sections. Good room/hotel for the price.

Great Hotel,Needs Carpets Cleaned.
Great except the carpet in the room needs shampooing. Your feet stuck to the carpet.

Great Room with Great Rate!
Great Room with an ideal location for shopping and roaming around downtown Minneapolis. Great food and drinks nearby and walking distance to the lightrail! Made for a great place to stay before a Vikings game!

Very impressed
We had the best time during our short weekend stay in Minneapolis. The location of the Doubletree made it easy to get around. The Hotel was great and everything was better than we could have hoped for. Thanks again.

Expedia had a great rate for our stay. Will book through them again. Says alot of research and time.

Great hotel, we plan to stay here each year for our conference.
We were in Minneapolis for a conference. This hotel was really close to the convention center, an easy walk and only a $5 cab ride if the weather was really bad. We choose this hotel because of the rate and were really pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. We loved having the mini fridge and microwave in our room. It was also nice having a sitting area separate from the sleeping area. We will stay at this hotel in the future for our conference stays.

Couldn’t have asked for me!!
This hotel was exactly what we were looking for! It was perfect for our one night stay! The rooms were spacious and service was great! Would recommend to anyone and hope to stay there again in the future. It was just a short walk to eating places and bars... and only about a 15 minute walk to the Metrodome!

Enjoyable stay
The only complaints in my group, the evening restaurant meal was such that we did not want to return there for breakfast. Service was good, everything looked good, but I had walleye which was prepped in olive oil which was not perfectly fresh. My friend had baked onion soup which he said was not at all good. But we enjoyed the rooms, the location, and the price. If you have a car just be aware parking in MN at hotel lots is $13 per day which is not cheap. You also might not find a spot. I got the last spot available on Saturday and arrived at the lot fairly early, about 5:30 in the evening.
