A beautiful garden-based hotel
Really enjoyed the San Borodino. Lovely to have the sub-tropical gardens and the huge immaculate pool ---- even if it was a little cold! Well positioned near the main beach, the bus station and the old interesting part of Puerto with its great selection of restaurants, we would certainly consider returning. Breakfast, as ever, was self-service with a resonable selection of hot and cold foods. Not very exciting, but certainly good value. All in all we were delighted that we had chosen this hotel.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Check out the good value restaurants in the old town, and hire a car for a couple of days -- and don’t miss the botanical gardens.

not impressed to say the least
nicer on the outside than the inside, evening meals often poor quality

Will not go back
Very limited and also poor standard of food. Staff in general indifernet to small personal needs, including reception. No air con, internet not working. Non existent bar with staff seeming put out to serve. Bedroom floor never cleened, whilst staying. Will go for higher star accommodation in future.

North Tenerife, great for spectacular surf and volcanic beaches, restaurants, bars, very clean, very green with lots to do. Weather changeable.
