I chose Pocitos Plaza hotel after reviewing some of the reports from previous travellers. I was not disappointed. The staff are extremely helpful, the area the hotel is situated in a very safe to walk around and the accessability to the centre of town very manageable by bus.The bus stop into town is right outside the hotel and the return bus stop merely a block or so away. The room we had was large and comfortable, the bed excellent and everything was always very clean. There is a safety box which with a little manipulation will take a laptop. There is a shopping mall within easy walking distance and shops and restaurants within the immediate area. There is underground parking available should you need to park a vehicle. The breakfast is a light buffet and is ample for the start to the day. I would recommend staying at the Pocitos Plaza Hotel to any traveller wishing quiet sojurn out of the city hub.

Good Value
The hotel staff was very helpful. They provided maps and directions to various locations in the city. The breakfast was good, but had the same items every day for the entire week we were there. The room could’ve been cleaner, but it was liveable. We did notice that rooms on other floors (we were on the 4th floor) were in the process of being renovated. Our room faced the street and was noisy until late in the nite as the street is very busy with buses. All things considered, we would stay there again as our rate was very reasonable.
