They do their best!
Very helpful staff. Small hotel but alright as a reasonable option for short stays. In the safer part of town, far away from Miraflores where all the action is. Front office gives you good advice on prices and options for Lima. Taxis in Lima have no meters, do negotiate before you go anywhere near a taxi. Megatur, green taxi are safe options

Not what I expected
The only really good thing I could say about this hotel was that it was in a safe neighborhood of Lima which is not the norm. The breakfast was weak and not set up at the time promised. The beds were like cots. The hotel seemed quite old. The doorman was friendly and helpful however.

You do get what you pay for. This hotel was much less expensive than many other options.

An old mansion converted into a small hotel
Service is personalized, you do not feel wrapped up in the commercial environment, but rather gives you the feeling at beint at "grandmother’s house". Do not expect the commercial conveniences that modern hotels offer. This one has the basic comforts that you would get if staying at a relative’s house.
