Very comfortable stay
Hotel wasnt what i expected we travelled with a toddler and i was quiet concerned following other reviews about room size, well we had a double sea view room and it was perfect, lots of space for baby to run around and play and for us to relax. Of course it wasnt huge but for a 3 night stay was perfect. The hotel staff are very friendly and try there best to make your stay very comfortable. The hotel is in villa style and there are lots of stairs, not really a hotel i’d recommend for people with walking issues. Overall beautiful hotel but location (Caniggione) is not very excitting infact boring nothing to do there so i’d recommend car hire and go explore the area.
Definately need to hire a car.

Friendly and welcoming staff
We particularly appreciated the friendly and welcoming staff. From the minute we arrived, the staff were smiling, welcoming and friendly - as well as helpful and efficient. Hotel pool was great - even at night! Gym was very quiet - small but adequate. Abit hot as next to hot indoor pool. Location was excellent - hotel was well sited on the hillside just by the sea. Excellent restaurants within 5 mins walk either way. Didn’t eat in hotel except breakfast - which was v good. Would certainly return!
We used all the facilities = pool several times, gym, etc.

Contradictory experience....
A long weekend mid sept, booked Sardina and Villa Del Golfo to chill and take it easy as many friends had recommended resort. Hotel pleasant and clean with great facilities but some areas couldn’t do enough for you such as resturant but other areas like pool bar and reception looked at you as if you insane! However strangely maybe end of season but I found this attitude in local resturaunts too. No pizza in local pizzaria!
