Good value
Stopped here at the end of September this year. A perfect position for exploring Krakow overlooking the Planty. Ten minute walk from station, a couple of minutes from the big square with lots of eating/drinking nearby and a small supermarket just up the street. There was a little tram noise but after busy days and late drinking it didnt affect us-just ask for a rear room. Buffet breakfasts were great with a wide range of foods-loved the scrambled eggs and smoked sausage.Staff were helpful and spoke good English and are ready to sort out transport etc. Rooms are well maintained and comfortable, we felt it was good value. Didnt try the restaurant but others seemed to enjoy it.Get the minibus around the corner to the salt mine for 5zl return!!
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
You can catch a minibus or get the train to the salt mine for 5zl return then its just 69zl with an English speaking guide, we only waited ten minutes for our tour. Taxi from airport is about 80 zl but a third less if you order by phone. The terminal bus takes you to a train station then train into the centre- this seems odd but there is a big slow traffic jam into the centre which the train avoids.

small room but central location
We found this hotel central to Main Square and Jewish Quarter, on the edge of the Planty so good location. Our room was quite small but clean and a decent shower. The weather was lovely so the room got a bit hot but when the window was left open all night the trams below were very noisy so had to close the window and had to have the fan going all night. It wasnt expensive so we were reasonably happy with it. There is a bar but not manned all the time so we had to go to reception for them to alert the bar person but they came pretty quickly. On the whole I would use this again because it was good location and good value for money as breakfast was good as well.
