Billed as a 4 star but not Impressed.
Tired rooms that were out dated and small. Dirty bed spread covers. Should progress up to a quilt where the cover can be washed and changed as each guest leaves. Some refurbishnment taking place but overall tired and dated. Staff were friedndly. There was a High proportion of Thomas Cook "all inclusive" which seemd to bring good and bad from all walks if life. A high proportion of people reserving sun beds with towels for the whole day. I have to say the culprits were British. Hotel should remove towels if sun beds occupied for less than 1 hour. This would sort the ignorant guests out.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Local dive centre and restaurants were brilliant. We up graded to the Fortina Spa 5 star which was as a hotel should be. Many guest did this and not wanting to be synical i am not all suprised.

Rooms good, view from pool very good. The rest is down hill.4* it is not.Pool overtaken by the local diving school, food by others reported as poor.Staff only seemed to care about the 5* next door.No mention of the construction work going on.Silema is pleasent but stay somewere else.

Great Location, suitable hotel...
The location of this hotel is really what made it great for us. The views are amazing and the bed was comfortable. The Air conditioning was sublime and it was nice to have a small fridge in the room. The shower was small and had some scary dark black mold in spots and the front desk and concierge staff was not very knowledgeable about the tourist sites around Malta, or how to operate some of the front desk systems which we learned is due to many of them being foreigners which doesnt make a great concierge staff! The pools were fine but nothing great, and the included breakfast was very much an English breakfast and to us not so tasty but it worked ok.
