Good Hotel for the money
Great location just off the main square and a good breakfast.

Great Location
Hotel Rezydent has a great location, just off the main square, where you can find a range of resturants and shops. The hotel rooms are basic but very large and comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and were able to give good advice about visiting attractions locally ( I would highly recommend a visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mines-very unexpected! Catch yellow 304 bus)
Leave plenty of time to visit the castle as it can take a while to see all the different attractions. Also some of the attractions within the castle are free on certain days.

Great Location
The location was wonderful, just of the Market Square. However, our room was situated in an annexe a few doors along from the hotel main entrance. Access to the hotel was through glass doors signposted to a (closed) restaurant. The doors were locked in the evening and it was a dark walk along an unlit corridor to get to the stairs. Half way up the stairs was an ornamental metal door that had to be unlocked to get further up the stairs. There was no lift and our room was up several flight of stirs, not good for anyoine with mobility problems. This was ok because we were a party of four but woul dnot have been happy with this if I had been a solo traveller or in a female party. Our room located at the back of the hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. However, the other couple in our party were located at the front of the hotel and found it very noisy, particularly on a Friday night when noise from the square continued to 3.00am. Breakfast was taken at a restaurant just over the road, this arrangement worked well and the breakfast was excellent. Overall, the hotel was in a great location, rooms were fine but to access them was not good.
