Nice, but basic hotel
I think some of the online reviews I’ve seen for this hotel are a bit over the top. It’s a good hotel, but certainly wouldn’t call it great. Rooms are a bit small and we had a room where the only windows looked into an interior vent area that got very little natural sunlight. As a result, it made our room feel a bit like a cave, so we didn’t want to spend much time there aside from sleeping. This was fine, since there was plenty to do in Barcelona. Overall, the best way to describe it is that the room felt very efficient and almost business like -- didn’t feel very welcoming and didn’t really inspire you to relax. Strangely though, the lobby (although small) is pretty welcoming -- just doesn’t transfer over into the rooms. Probably makes a great business hotel, but not so sure the best bet for a leisure trip.

Spotlessly clean
Modern boutique hotel in a quiet, middle-class neighbourhood. Though room is small, there is a lot of storage space. There are many nice little shops around. Can walk to Diagonal in a few minutes and enjoy city shopping. Barcelona is very accessible by public transit so we had no problem that it’s a bit away from the metro.

Great room. Loved Barcelona
Everthing looked like the pictures on the website. Terrific area. Enjoyed the perk of having free cold water. "Friend had breakfast every day (12 euros per day, but really enjoyed)".
