Quiet Hotel near St. Marks
Our plane arrived many hours before check-in. They kept our baggage for us so we could begin enjoying Venice right away. The desk people were very helpful, the bed was medium firm, very good for our backs. The hotel was very clean and had two high decks with a view of San Zaccaria. Breakfast was generous with eggs, fried prociutto, cheeses, cold cuts, breads, cereals, light pastries, a large selection of fruits and coffee or espresso.
For our Island tour and the Grand Canal Tour and Circling Venice we got the vaporetto 12 hour pass.

Villa Igea
Perfect Location. Right next to Monument (San Marco) Vapporetto stop. Urgraded us to the 4 star Jolanda hotel on the waterfront but room was a tad small as with most Venice Hotels. Very clean and excellent friendly service. Would stay there again.
May or October. Too busy and too hot in between.

Viva Villa Igea
Excellent location in the heart of the city, excellent hotel as an annex to the four-star Savoia Jolanda on the waterfront 50 metres away, friendly staff who cant do enough for you, beautiful room decorated Venetian style. What is there not to like?
Forget the gondolas and take a Vaporetta (water bus) up and down the Grand Canal to view one of the loveliest urban landscapes in Europe.
