Good hotel but mainly for business purposes
Would recommend as a very good hotel as highlighted above.However would see this a more of a business hotel given it’s location.Tunis’s best landmarks difficult to get to unless private taxi used
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
See above little to do after visiting the Medina in Tunis itself.Carthage etc needs a taxi as tere wouild appear to be very few ’coach tours’ within the city

hotel is in good location even is not right in the centre of things. rooms is clearn and comfort. the outdoor pool is too small. i booked a suite but there is no tea and coffee making facility and i think i should not have to ask for it?! the carpet is quite dirty and old tha save deposit box is not working even i was oftered to use the one in the recetion for free still feel nt the same. food was a bit lack of selection both breadfast and dinner.and shoul have english to tell giess what they are, since Tunis is the capital;there will be a lot of forienger to visit. apart from that the room was very good. the staffs are very helpful and nice. is more a hotel for the bussiness people than leisure. over all iss a good hotel.

Not Impressed
Mechtel is a 4 Star Hotel. Nonetheless, the room cleaniness, quality of services and the location are not ideal for city breakers. It is because the hotel does not offer advise on local transportation not have tours information. It was a disappointment
3 days stay will be the ideal time spent in Tunis. Also, prepare to be ripped off by taxis drivers, in Medina and any tourist places.. But Enjoy it...
