So conveniently situated
A well positioned moderate hotel with easy access to the airport, restaurants and the metro. Having a kitchen gives so much flexibility and there is a Trader Joes across the street. The hotel staff are friendly and professional. They do a very good continental breakfast each morning. We stayed a week and found it suited our needs perfectly.

Washington Suites Georgetown
The hotel is adequate for families with small kids. we have a 2.5 year old and it was fine, the kitchen was great to keep snacks, milk, and "kid stuff" in it. We were visiting a friend who lives in DC so we were primarily only in the hotel to sleep. One suggestion is if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room that faces the alley, dont get a room overlooking Pennsylvania Ave (VERY loud on weekends). Our room overlooked a sidestreet but it was RIGHT next to a church, and on Sunday that is worse than traffic (the bells!!!). The hotel is also very close to a hospital, so you hear a LOT of ambulance noise. It does not allow you to control your own heat/air conditioning, but we found it comfortable (we were there in early November). Get to the breakfast early and bring it back to your room... Id recommend the hotel if you are looking for a basic, clean, no frills experience.
