A Hidden Gem!
We were absolutely amazed when we arrived at this hotel. It’s a very old property in a delightfully charming little village right by a marina and old fort. Wandered through residential streets lined with lovely old homes, along the waterfront and explored an old WWI fort. We had dinner at a lovely neighborhood bistro. We LOVED this place and would go back again in a heartbeat.

Glad my wife wasn’t with me!
The other reviews here give the impression that the hotel is close to airport and OK. It was about a 15 minute cab to the hotel. The hotel is old and in need of update and the small single bed squeaked whenever I moved. Footsteps above me sounded like a herd of buffalo. This hotel seems to be in a residential area meaning no other restaurants/stores around. I suppose the rate was good compared to the Hilton at the airport. I will look around some more next time.

Cute hotel but the owner did not treat us well
This hotel is in a very convenient location because there is excellent bus service to the airport and to Copenhagen. The people who worked at the hotel were very friendly but the owner was not nice at all and we had to interface with her once. She thought we were only supposed to be there for one night so she had our things packed up while we were in Copenhagen and rented the room to someone else. When we came back to our room we walked into the room that was rented to someone else. Luckyly this person was not in the room. When we went to check to see what happened the owner was at the desk and she was not nice at all. She made us feel that we had made a mistake. It was too bad because she made a very pleasant stay into an unpleasant one.
