Good choice for a short visit to Zurich
The hotel is extremely well located, is very clean and well maintained - ideal place for a short stay if you care for a good location and good value. The room is small but has most of what you might need. I arrived after midnight and was given a free check out prolongation until 3. the staff was vey helpful.

Ideal location for visiting city and shopping
Pleasant hotel in great spot for access city, esp for shopping and tourist stuff. Contemporary decor, nice bedrooms, front facing VERY NOISY all the time inc thru night passing traffic never stopped. Amazed allow smoking indoors inc breakfast-room which got fairly crowded, sometimes had to wait for seating, despite availability outside patio. Would use again only because of location, but next time would check around in advance for other boutique hotels with no-smoking policy.
Traveller's tip on dining
wonderful restaurants everywhere, but for wknds you must book in-advance to be sure of res at the one you want, there are always conferences and tourist activities going on, very busy city! Also, check for smoking policy, sometimes there are separated areas.

What must pass for value in an expensive city...
Nothing bad to say; but would hope for somewhat less dormitory-like interiors given the price of the rooms. No room service except for breakfast. Clean -- with good in-room amenities and a great location, especially if one wishes to stay in the main shopping area. Also close to the train station. Being a regular visitor to Zurich, I’ve found options in this price range limited, so could easily end up there again.
