Great hotel and great staff in a great locations
My partner and I stayed in the Jacaranda the last week in May this year and we had an absolutely brilliant time. We stayed in the hotel on a B&B basis and found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. We arrive early to the hotel, before check in time, and were given free drinks in the hotel bar while our receptionist ensured that our room was made ready early for us. The rooms were spacious and had air conditioning. The only draw back was that there are only two English channels available for free on the TV - CNN and Eurosport - so if you’re a TV addict you have to pay to watch. Also, it costs €1.50 a day to use the fridge and €15 a week for the safe. The hotel has 6 great swimming pools, two of which are hidden on a rooftop terrace so its worth having a good look around the hotel to find. The hotel is ideally located about 15 minutes drive from the airport, 5 minutes walk from the beach and has great restaurants close by. I would definitely holiday in the Jacaranda again!
The best restaurant close by the Hotel Jacaranda is Restaurant Gran Reserve. This restaurant has great food at a low price.

Not impressed
Having visited this hotel on several occassions and been satisfied with both the hotel and the catering we were very dissapointed with the way that it has now gone down hill. The hotel has now taken on an allinclusive option which we chose for our stay and found that after eating in the hotel for 3 days we were then both bored and dissapointed with the quality and variety of the food and found ourselves eating out for the majority of our stay.Also having the drinks included in our bill was fine if you could get the service we were waiting on average for up to 15minutes to be served at the bars and on most ocassions the night club bar was shut earlier than stated.So we would now look elswere in Adeje for our next holiday...shame hope it sorts itself out!

very big hotel
just got back from the Jacaranda and it was a nice hotel, the 2nd or 3rd biggest in Tenerife so if your looking for small accomodation this isnt for you, lots of germans and some italians breakfast was good but evening meal you had to stipulate your eating time as there is two sittings which was always busy food was okay me myself much prefer to eat out, if i booked again i would take the B/B as i only eat in twice, had a fussy teenager who only had the chips, rooms were cleaned daily and if you asked for anything it was done like more towels, the hotel also has pool towels you pay a deposit and you get fresh towels every day, i didnt know this so brought my own, yes i would book to go back there again as it was a nice hotel quiet at night time but a bit noisy with doors in the morning, and cause it is tiled floors you did hear people walking past, i was on ground level and my balcony didnt really get much sun for the big trees, pool kept very clean heated childrens pool too, im going back in October but to another hotel as i booked the other one 1st,
