one night; travelling thru

We just needed a cheap room for one night to rest on our way to Florida. We were not expecting much for the price-just a clean, comfortable room. However, we expected it to be clean and we believe the sheets in our room were not clean. The bathroom was dirty and the carpet was filthy. If the hotel is offering a pet friendly room, the floor should not have carpeting. We have stayed in hotels that are inexpensive, but have been clean. Will not stay here again.

Missed the Mark

Breakfast was lousy & had to walk to a different building to get breakfast tickets before we could eat! (Should have been given upon check-in.) Made mistake of booking us 2 rooms for the night & had an attitude about resolving THEIR problem. Asked me to call Hotels.com & they added I’d be hassled. Restaurant was only serving Indian food for lunch & dinner, thought it could be more diverse. All in all, was not comfortable there.
