Would definitely stay here again
This hotel was great. Our room was clean and the bathroom was a nice size and spotlessly clean with a separate bath and shower. We used the pool & jacuzzi/sauna which we found just what we needed after a long hot day walking round Cambridge. We found the location of the hotel perfect as we knew how difficult it is to park in Cambridge, you can park for free at this hotel, (the ones in the city centre are 15 pounds per day) and then if visiting the city centre its a few miles down the A428 towards Cambridge to the Madingley Road Park & Ride to get the bus straight into the city - no hassle! The only thing I would say is that the quality of the cooked items on the breakfast menu wasnt that good although the selection of fruit was lovely. The staff in the breakfast room could have been a bit more helpful too!

Poor Customer Service
We were unable to sleep as we could hear the lift going up and down loudly in our room all night. We mentioned it to the receptionist, who was the assistant manager and he was not interested. The fire alarm also went off in the night and we were not given any explanation for that either. We had a long wait for breakfast and once we got into the restaurant, staff were pushing past by our table constantly and the food was good and not thoroughly cooked. I will be writing to the hotel to complain and seek compensation.
We found a decent indian restaurant walking distance from the Hotel called Chutney Joe. The food was good and reasonably priced.

Not of a good standard
I was disappointed to find that there was a significant amount of mould in the shower - not what I would expect of this class of hotel. Worse was that there was no hot water in the room until the morning. On arrival, VERY loud piped rock music in reception
