Fantastic location.

This hotel is positioned in the middle of both disney parks with disney characters greeting you in the morning on your way to breakfast. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Nice stay

The design and flair of the hotel are still very Disney. Hotel service is okay, staff is not as friendly as in the US. The buffet breakfast is great, except for the coffee. Restaurant is a little pricey. The room is clean and comfortable. Bathroom amenities, like the hair dryer and shower were the same ones they have in their cruise lines. It works but could be better.

Traveller's tip on dining

Although the restaurant’s ambience is great, it’s best to eat in the parks or nearby Disney Village. The restaurant is quite pricey.

Fabulous

With the hotel practically in the Park it was so easy to go to and from during the day. The breakfast with the characters is well worth it so make sure the kids have an autograph book. The breakfast was a good start to the day. You also get extra magic hours so you are allowed into the park at 8am, 2 hours before anyone else. Only a few areas are open at this time so check the program before heading in. Your park passes include the fast pass which although is only for around 9 rides is really useful. My kids are 5 and 6 years old and loved every minute of the trip. The staff are really helpful. Definately worth the extra to stay in this hotel.

The transfer from CDG involved 2 coaches ... paying the extra for a private transfer would have been well worth it. The coach also visits all other hotels first before arriving at the Disneyland Hotel. If you have young kids it is definately worth hiring the strollers in the park which are transferable between parks during the day.
