Will definitely go back
We do not like staying in hotels but prefer to rent accommodations and this is perfect. It is situated in a small village, very charming and typical of the south of France. We went in mid-may and most of the shrubs were already in flower. Lots of lavender bushes, oleanders and the magnificent red bottle brushes in the complex. The creamy coloured buildings have two floors maximum and the shutters are painted in pastel blue, green, etc. The appartment itself is just perfect with cool tiled flooring, white walls and blue doors as well as modern and bright furnishings. Our colour scheme was blue and yellow. Lots of storage, great shower, balcony, dishwasher and the possibility to hire a tv. The village has a few restaurants and cafes, as well as usual shops including a small supermarket which is ideal. The residence is quite but Sainte Maxime and its beach, hustle and bustle, is only a 10 minutes drive on a great D road.
Traveller's tip
You need a car or motorbike because this place is "in the middle of nowwhere" but what beautiful scenery.

No public transport down to the beech. Local bus non exisitant. Spent E30 one way in taxi.
Very nice apartment. Lovely pool. Building work next to accomodation made lying by the pool unenjoyable. Staff unhelpfull and unsupportive re: lack of public transport to beech at St Maximes. Left to fend for ourselves. We booked 5 day stay and left after 2 nights as the taxi farers to and from St maxime beech were killing our budget.
YOU NEED A HIRE CAR IF YOU STAY AT THIS ACCOMODATION OTHERWISE YOU ARE COMPLETLEY STRANDED. TAXIS E30, ONE WAY. TAXI STAND IN ST MAXIME DESERTED. TAXI PHONE BOOTH NEXT TO STAND BROKEN/ NOT WORKING.

Great value for money
Very good base, within easy distant of some beautiful beaches and picture post card villages, but also idea to just spend time at the pool in the well kept grounds. Would certainly visit again and will also use Odalys again elswhere in Europe
