Very good central location, would use again
This hotel has a very attractive modern design, giving the feeling of quality at a reasonable cost. Staff were helpful and efficient.

Good central hotel and not like a big chain
The hotel has a boutique feel to it and not like the other large, impersonal, chains. It’s directly above the central station but don’t let that put you off - it’s eerily quiet on the guest floors. Central position is great for access to bars, shops etc.

Best hotel in Gothenburg
This was my second stay at the First G hotel in Gothenburg and again I was impressed by the comfort of the rooms and the quiteness considering it is situated above a train station. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are very helpful. It is very well located for all Gotherburg has to offer. I stayed in 2006 with my mum and again in Aug 2009 with a friend and they were both really impressed by the hotel. I would recomend this hotel to anyone travelling to Gothenburg and have had another friend stay earlier this year on my recommendation who also loved it.
If you want to visit all of the attractions - Museums, Liesberg, The Lipstick, Paddan Boat Tours etc you will save a good amount of money if you buy the Gothenburg Pass which you can buy as a 1 or 2 day pass.
