FOR ME, WAS OK, CAUSE I TRAVELled ALONE.... BUT. THE ROOMS ARE EXTREMELY SMALL BUT THIS WAY ARE IN THE MAJORITY OF HOTELS. NO MODERN, NORMAL HOTEL BUT SUPER LOCATED ...GOOD. IT HAS FREE INTERNET ..... VERY GOOD, INCLUDE BREAKFAST, IT DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITION. THE ROOM WAS LITTLE HOT. LITTLE NOISY. BUT I CAN STAY AGIAN JUST FOR THE LOCATION.

Very good location. 5 minute walk to Bayswater tube. Decent breakfast. Small double beds. Worn.
While it was conveniently located to Bayswater and Queensway tubes, as well as a good selection of pubs and restaurants on Queensway Street, the hotels rooms were small and showing its age. Carpeting was worn and stained in our room 417. The two beds were small, but comfortable. Otherwise, the breakfast was decent with 4 cereals, bread and jams, fruit, ham and cheese slices, coffee and juices. The lobby and adjoining guest meeting areas were comfortable with plenty of chairs. The bar was well stocked. Wifi Internet reception was okay in the lobby, but not in the room. Youll receive a unique username and password to enter with each login. The single elevator was slow and held 5 people without luggage. The lobby staff held our suitcases in an unsecured area for 5 hours until our room was ready.
From Heathrow I would recommend a private transportation service over public. For 44 pounds we were picked up and dropped off right at hotel. 4 people with 7 bags.

Great Hotel
The Phoenix is close to Bayswater and Queensway tube stations. The Whiteley shopping centre is close by and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants just round the corner in either Queensway or Westbourne Grove. Whenever we visit London the Phoenix is always our first choice. Its in a great location and its excellent value for money!
