Comfortable, but rather old style
The hotel room is comfortable, the "double bed" which has an extra price means they put two bed together. The room did have a view to the sea, as ordered, and the view itself was really nice. The room is clean, but the bathroom is rather poor: old style, no ventilation, no shower gel or shampoo, only soap. The hotel does have a very nice looking pool, divided in two sections, one for kids, one for adults, and a lot of chairs and space for sun bathing. Walking through their garden for 1-2 minutes, you get to their private beach, where chairs are again provided. There is a small bay, very apropriate if you go with small kids. The down sides of this hotel are: internet is dial up (meanind no internet; they do not provide any information on how could you obtain an account and a password from a local internet provider); the fridge in the room needs to be rented at minimal extra cost - but then again when you choose the room type and pay, it says "room with minibar", so it should be included in the price. Another annoying thing was that they lock the hotels doors after 12-12,30 in the night. So if you venture on the beach or in the garden at such hours, you may find yourself stranded, as we did. Nevertheless, if you try to enjoy your vacation, you will, and from what I read, this is still one of the few hotels that doesnt give you headackes :) BTW, forget about wireless in that resort; they didnt even hear it exists! We found a WI FI hotel in Agia Napa.
Traveller's tip on dining
Dont miss the local meze, try to eat in different places, ask around before you go. Everywhere we ate food was very good, sea food especially, and at a reasonable price (but by doing a tour before you choose you may avoid paying too much for no difference).

Suprisingly nice Hotel
Confortable and clean 3* hotel if a litle dated design wise. It is a family hotel 1 mile away from the bar strip of Protaras, so expect lots of nice oldies and families staying there. The hotel garden is especialy nice and green, if you consider the general aridness of the surounding areas. There are plenty of sunbeds free of charge and it doesnt get too crowded even with the hotel at full capacity. The beach is straight in front of the hotel, and theres a smaller secluded one if you walk just a few meters to the left of it. The waters are cristal clear with loads of fish to spot when snorkeling. The only small gripe was the average Buffet food, and a pool guy that kept hassling young couples about not hugging and kissing in the pool as it was a family hotel and appropriate behaviour was expected. Extremely over zealous. Other than that this was extreme good value for money. if you want to be awya from the hustle and bustle of protaras center, but still a short 15 min walk away from it.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Buy a snorkeling mask from the Hotel shop (or pop down the mainroad and get a slightly cheaper one from one of the shops on the road) and swimm straight into the litle cove bay just in front of the hotel pool, follow the right hand side rock face and spot he hundreds of fish and the secret cove beach on the tip of the "miniature cape". Lovely!

Would definately stay there again
Having read mixed reviews we were a little concerned about what to expect, did not need to worry. Everything was excellent. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned daily to a high standard. We were on bed and breakfast - the buffet breakfast included all tastes - fruit, cereal, continental and bacon and eggs etc. and was good. The hotel had everything that anyone would need for a holiday without having to leave the hotel. It was in a great location, just out of the main centre of Protaras but within walking distance. There were three restaurants very near to the hotel - we visited a small greek cypriot taverna which was very good. We would definatley go back there if we visit that part of Cyprus in the future and would not hesitate to recommend to others. Our room had a pool and sea view which was worth the extra as we saw a spectacular sunrise one morning.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Rent a Fridge for your stay, buy water/fruit drinks/fizzy drinks at the supermarket if you do not go all inclusive.
