Upgraded at Olivarius - fabulous!
We used this hotel for the last two nights of our camping holiday in France at the end of Aug this year. With 2 young children and a long drive from the Alps, we wouldnt have had time to pitch a tent before dark. We didnt need to get into Lille so the hotels distance from the city didnt bother us. On our arrival we were upgraded to a suite and it was magnificent! Just what we needed to unwind and recharge our batteries - it was a big effort to leave the room. Our son aged 7 had his own wing with a huge double bed and bathroom - and TV! We had a circular bed on a mezzanine floor where we placed our daughters (aged 2) travel cot. The highlight was our free standing illumintaed and remote controlled bath which we all loved. We had a fully equipped kitchen ( the cooker took some working out) and huge living / dining space, balcony, TV / DVD etc. Breakfast was plentiful - but the self-serve machines were a bit depleted by evening and theres no supermarket nearby. My advice would be to arrive with food as the hotels right on the motorway system and depending on how good a navigator you are, you could be going round in circles if you venture out for food. Or phone for pizza! We prised ourselves away to visit Ypres and battlefields which are a short trip away - the hotels ideally placed for that. Would definitely return - and would hope for another upgrade!

strange thing
since in my room there was a little kitchen i decided to prepare for once a dinner in-room, then it was late to clean a dish and a glass so i left them there in the sink, next day the cleaning lady did all my room but it seems that she refused to clean this single dish and instead she fill up my sink with water which made the smell of my room horrible at the end of the day when i returned.
