Not Impressed
The room was more like a self catering apartment, with a kitchen /sitting area a good size bedroom and a large bathroom. It was clean and nicely kept. There was a problem with noise from the lift which was outside our room, although the hotel did have a notice on it asking people to use the stairs, but not everyone did, and I was woken a couple of times in the middle of the night with the noise. When you first walk into the hotel you actually walk straight into the bar/restaurant, which is very lively at night, the reception desk is strangely tucked away in the corner. There is no lobby or sitting area. The bar area was non existant, as it was filled with dinning tables for the restarant, along with a ’breakfast bar’ running down the middle. Breakfast was served in the bar area and was vey nice, although I did not like having my coffee out of styrofoam cups! The hotel is a short walk from the bech and a very lively shopping/restaurant area. We were only there for 2 nights, and in all honesty that was probably enough. I would not stay there again, and I would not recommend it to a friend.

Very special Boutique Hotel
At first I was a little reluctant to stay at what I consider a boutique hotel. Previous stays in South Beach were always at big hotels on Collins Ave. I was pleasantly surprised at the large rooms. I was like an efficiency apartment. Large living room, refrigerator, microwave, kitchen area, 47" Flat Screen TV. The room opened to a atrium in front and a balcony in the rear. I attended a party at the pool on the roof. The resteraunt OLAs was the best ever and the bar was convienant.
