Inconvenient location
Too far to walk, dark lane up to hotel (no lights), swimming pool not clean, and taxis 50euro from Nice

very standard
close to train station to get to nice, monaco and cannes. however not the best in terms of comfort. very average. we had a 1 bed apt. and the room had no windows. was a boxed room. then all kitchen cupboards were locked and you needed to pay an extra 16 euros to get access to plates and cups!!! rooftop pool - didnt use. didnt look very clean.
dont have breakfast at the hotel. there is a supermarket near by and train station to get to either nice, or cannes.

Nice hotel, bad location
The hotel itself was nice. The staff were helpful and the room was a very nice size. The only real issues I had were the price of breakfast (10 euros with so little available), and the state of the area it was in. It was surrounded by what looked like a run-down industrial estate, and you have to walk/drive up a smelly dirt road (thats hard to locate in the first place if youre on foot). Id stay there again, but only because of how convenient it made getting to and from the places I wanted to visit there.
Traveller's tip on dining
Theres a bus stop close to the bottom of the road. If you hop on a bus heading towards Nice youll quickly come to a shopping and dining complex. Theres nowhere to eat at the hotel so youll need to go somewhere like this for dinner. Or, order a takeaway! There are plenty of leaflets for pizza and sushi places at the front desk.
