The Hotel proprietor is nice. We stayed in the family suite. The room was clean but room was so-so overall. The hotel has no Air-Conditioning. So if you are travelling in the summer, you’ll have to deal with that. Plus the mattresses were not comfortable, seemed to be sinking into the bed. The breakfast is ok, but they don’t serve well and do not offer options like in the US.

Nice ambience/close to attractions
Very friendly and accomodating staff. Our room was a charming room with a maritime theme. Great breakfirst buffet.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
40 yards from the old town wall around the old city. All in walking distance. If you run - run around the old walls of the old city (ca. 5 Km) Up and down. Perfect.

Impressed with the great location of the hotel and staff
The hotel is a jewel with a responsive staff, pleasant surroundings and location perfect for touring Rothenberg. It was easy to locate by car and provided adequate parking. I did not have to move my car the entire visit. to this wonderful site.
Be sure to enjoy the "Night Watchman Tour" beginning at 8 PM in the town hall. A most do!!!!!
