Strange room!
We had a very strange room that led directly off the lobby behind the reception desk. It had no room number and seemed to be a spare room for when the hotel was fully booked as it was in this instance.It was obvious that everyone else went upstairs or downstairs to their rooms. Most disappointing was that we had no air conditioning or fan in temperatures reaching 35+, even though I had checked online beforehand to make sure that all rooms had this option. We fond it impossible to sleep as the room was airless and had to buy a fan. We loved Agia Galini and everything else about the holiday but would have loved to have slept as well!!

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff
Stayed at Hotel Iro for a week in July 2008. Our room was very clean,the view from our balcony is breathtaking, out to the sea.Having a fridge was a big plus, though i hope they’ll change the lock on the bathroom door as it doesn’t work properly. The breakfast is quite simple, but the staff are very friendly. Overall, we liked it and would go back.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
One of the best things to do in Agia Galini is going out on a fishing trip with the small local boat. It runs daily and takes you to an isolated beach where you grill and eat the fish you caught, with some greek salad and wine. Loved it.
