Passing through
I stayed at Costa Doiro for one night on my way to a Aljezur. The hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and overall the place efficiently run. My room was very clean and comfortable with a little patio leading out to the pool. Lagos centre is only a 20 minute walk and beaches even closer. I didnt eat at the hotel but the bar staff were very friendly and made an effort to look after me. Probably more of a couples hotel than a single traveller but I was off camping and wanted a night of comfort before my trip. I would recomend the place to friends and re-vist myself should I be in Lagos again.

Wonderful respite in Lagos
We loved this hotel. It was away from the bustle of downtown. This did mean that we usually drove to the oldtown, but it was a doable walk as well. Our unit had a deck that looked out on a courtyard with a view of a pool. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
Traveller's tip
Tip: definitely have a map with you. The streets in Lagos, and in Portugal in general, are not clearly, or correctly marked.

A pleasant holiday.
Very happy with the hotel.Only drawback is that it is a good 20 minute walk from Central Lagos and this might not suit everyone as the return is slightly uphill. Not drastic but a consideration for the less mobile. Food good and wine very reasonable. Staff pleasant and cleanliness particularly of rooms superb.
Traveller's tip on dining
Use the Resort Hoppa bus to get to the resort,it is very reasonably priced and in off season October very quick. In town we ate in the Jotta 13 and were so pleased with the meal and the prices that we ate there 4 times. The wine was competitively priced and the staff really friendly. Its worth a visit.Use the local buses to get around.Taxis from town are very cheap to the outskirts of Lagos.Overall Lgos is a lovely place for a holiday.
