Highest return rate of any hotel in Wengen
... and I can see why! One guest has been coming for four months every summer since 1980! Great position, nice comfortable rooms, excellent food and very friendly service. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Wengen is a great base for walking, buy yourself a 6 day mountain railway pass from Wengen station (200 CHF but worth it if you walk every day, individual rides are very expensive) and you can do some great circular walks just hopping on a train or cable car to get you there and back.

Nice Hotel
The Hotel is situated less than a 5 minute walk from the center of town. The hotel rooms are rather small but clean. The hotel staff is extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet is great. The half board is good too but I only ate there one night. Overall, a nice hotel but don’t expect anything superior.

The nightlife is very limited but maybe it’s because of the timing of when I was there.

ski holiday
Single (mature!) female on skiing holiday. A great hotel- i was made to feel very welcome right from the start - not always the case in the past at other places. Great food, cosy bar, all staff very welcoming - caoldn@t have been better!
