Comfortable, relaxing and totally enjoyable

Best hotel weve stayed at while in Italy for 2 weeks and 4 hotels. Just watch out for bugs outside.

very nice but !!

Very frustrating hotel. Building is wonderfully done, rooms are great no question, very clean, very modern, great pool area, handy location (but you must have a car)strange location in the middle of an industrial estate but still it is quiet, problems ? 1 no bar area, they say use the end of the restaurant but that doesn’t work 2 the restaurant, whilst serving very good food albeit at very high prices is staffed by the most sullen, miserable staff it has been my experience to meet, if you select of the menu fine, if you ask unreasonably for extras like mixed vegetables or god forbid some potatoes then be preapred to be disappointed and treated very poorly indeed 3 no facility to eat other than in the restaurant at the aforementioned very high prices, no cheap pasta or salad option for lunch or around the pool god forbid. 4.staff attitude generally, as several other reviewers found a very poor attitude to visitors everything was an enormous effort even responding to a cheery good morning, truly depressing after a few days (we sadly stayed a week) conclusion - if they ever sort out the small problems i.e staff then the basic facilities for a great hotel are there, we however won’t venture back

Problems between Hotel, and franchised restaurant.

Lovely hotel. Seriously the hotel and grounds are really nice for the price. I have stopped in other Boscolo hotels and been very impressed, that’s why we chose this one. Don’t want to serve food in the afternoon, or anywhere other than in the restaurant. Got them to provide food after a fight. On friday evening we were told that the pool would be out of bounds from 2pm Saturday for a private party. The main reason we booked the hotel was for the pool facilities. Party started around 8pm. The whole of the restaurant was booked for a bus load of visitors on Sunday night without prior notice. Bear in mind there are no other restaurants in the vicinity unless you have a car. We eventually got a table after a fight. It transpires that the restaurant is franchised out. Extremely expensive for the quality of the food. Taxi fare to Prato, 5 miles away 40 Euros. I spend on average 60-70 nights a year in Hotels on Business, and Pleasure, and this has been one of my worst experiences ever.

Don’t go there
