Wonderful Hotel
The Toiras is a wonderful small hotel in the centre of St Martin de Re. We stayed there 2 nights and the service (particularly from Pierre) was first class.

comfortable and relaxing
this hotel manages to be comfortable and relaxing with great style, yet retains a friendly atmosphere. Wonderful helpful staff.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
The restaurant is very expensive and not good value for money (especially if you are vegetarian). Very expensive wine list too.

great little hotel
we have stayed at the Toiras before and came back for a second long weekend visit as the place is just so great. The decor is really amazing and beautifully laid out and presented. The staff are very warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There is a little dining room in the hotel but There are dozens of restaurants in St Martin Here they will accomodate you if you wish to eat in the hotel but why would you want to eat in a closed room when there are so many fabulous restaurants lining the marina. The little bar is typical of thousands of bars in thousands of small French hotels, its not really meant as a bar its just the provision of a service for those who might want a quick nightcap before retiring, or a quick drink before heading out for the evening. I dont expect the staff expect you to linger at the bar in the hotel when there are many real bars lining the marina just a few steps away. The rooms are a good size and while a little on the ’moody ’side in terms of lighting they are extremely comfortable and quiet. Anyway the attraction of Ile De Re is the shopping and the many fabulous seafood restaurants and buzzing bars lining the Marina. The little touches make you feel really welcome, We had a note and fruit when we arrived and the little note thanking us for our stay when we left .
