Well Worth a visit

The hotel had a touch of "Faded Elegance" with a little fine tuning it could be exceptionally good. For example the breakfast menu though good was unchanged daily when fresh fruits were in seson. The staff were extremely helpful and very good at their job and the location of the hotel and considerable grounds was good

Very convenient and cheap rail service 5 to Florence

Would certainly return

The Hotel was typically Tuscan and the staff extremely helpful. The breakfasts were very good with the exception that if there were tour buses in who were leaving early you had to be down early to get the bacon and eggs. We did eat in the hotel one night and that was very acceptable. All in all I would recommend this hotel if you don’t mind a 20-25 minute walk to the centre of Montecatini.

Traveller's tip

Only a 10 minute stroll to Montecatini Terme station. Many trains and cheap fares to Florence, Pisa, Viareggio and Lucca etc

Great hotel to relax and visit Tuscany

This is a delightful hotel set in a beautiful surroundings. It should be remembered though that this is a 500 year old Villa and is presented this was. The only problem we experienced was that the Air Conditioning in the rooms was inadequate so be prepared for a hot night. Don’t open the windows though or you’ll be bitten half to death by flies.
