A Real Gem
More than I expected. Very sophisticated hotel, great price. Restaurant was fabulous with TONS of other dining options within walking distance. Only a short walk from the beautiful beach. Our room overlooked the marina and the lovely pool. Service was perfect and the shower -- never seen anything like it!

An ’en-route’ stop, but would loved to haved stayed longer!
Stayed for just 1 night as a stop-over onto ultimate destination, but would definitely use for a longer stay in the future. Hotel is not a big faceless establishment, and has an air of quality about it. The staff were polite (English man on Reception very friendly and helpful, the room comfortable and its location ideal. Nice terrace overlooking small marina.

Nice, but bed is very hard
The Hotel Port Salins is clean and bright, well located, and pretty friendly (if a little self serving). Their restaurant is probably the most high end you’ll eat at in Empuriabrava, but not quite Michelin star level (at least not yet). That said, the bed was so hard that our backs ached. There was also not any mat or anything else in the shower to keep you from falling, so you really had to watch your step.
