Very Good hotel
Single male traveller wanting a lace to stay before going on to Rotterdam. Very tired after early flight - got into room at 10.30am and didnt hae to check out until 12midday nextday. Clean and tidy room very close to restaurants and bars. Quiet enough despite being on main road side. Very happy to stay here again.

Bit of a walk from the train station - give yourself about 30 mins or get the tram (not sure if its No5!)

Small is very small but friendly staff and great location
The hotel is in a great location just round the corner from the Leidseplein (square with tonsof bars and restaurants) and ten minutes walk from the main musuems yet not at all noisy. The staff were really friendly and helpful and put themselves out to help with our travel arrangements. The breakfast wasn’t exciting but was perfectly ok and you could eat as much as you wanted. The small double room we had booked was very small but perfectly adequate and the bathroom facilities were fine with a good shower. There was a slight hint of drain smell but this diminished during our stay. It wasn’t cheap but very convenient and worked well for us.
There are two buses (197 and 340 from memory but check) which go direct from Schipol to just around the corner from the hotel.
